Description

On stage 5 of the Istanbul Revisit series is on Ordu Cadesi at the Beyzit square. Istanbul28Y05 Beyazit. The Beyazit square leads to the Beyazit Mosque, one of  the bigger entrances to the grand bazar and has many benches where you can meet shoppers and sellers alike before the market opens. On the right we look in the direction of the Çorlulu Ali Pasha Mosque. The building on the corner and the one on the left have hardly changed. Although the marketing on both buildings has changed dramatically. It shows the changed attitude over the years toward advertising. The ‘floating’ men at the tram stop show a replaced entrance of the platform.
