Description

Center left we see the Çorlulu Ali Pasha Mosque we saw on image no. 5. This 6th image of the Istanbul Revisit series is on Yeniçeriler Caddesi.  Istanbul28Y06 Yeniçeriler Caddesi. Clearly visible is the small building just in front of the mosque what is I believe a library. In 1996 this was almost completely blocked from view by a tree, as was the mosque itself. The 2024 image is taken slightly further down the road, the arched gallery is blocked by the shops and trees in 1996. Some buildings on the right have a perfect match.
