Alemar Caddesi is the 7th image in the of the Istanbul Revisit series. Here we are on our way to Gühlhane Park (Image 9).  Istanbul28Y07 Alemdar Caddesi. The remarkable tree is central in this image as is the big white house on the left that was light-pink in 1996. This road is busy all year with busses, trams, taxi’s and cars. Although the street is more accommodating to pedestrians nowadays. The bus from 1996 almost dissolves into the image and merges with the tram from 2024. On the pavement we see several people walking who are made half transparent and blend with the people walking there 28 years earlier. Clearly visible is the rainbow entrance to the Gühlhane Park. The couple in the foreground is from a 3rd picture taken at the same time, I’ve added them as both 2024 pictures ware very interesting and they add a depth to the complete composition.
