Description

The last image on on Alemar Caddesi in the Istanbul Revisit might be one of the more remarkable images. Istanbul28Y09 Gühlhane Park. In 1996 we were greeted by an enormous rainbow gate to the park. 2024 saw that removed and the original middle entrance reopened. The older image is smaller than the one from 2024, the missing areas are not exposed showing the bright coloured clothing in the sun on the right bottom of the image. In this image the old vs new is interesting for me as the old has a new vibrant feel where the new has an old feeling.
