We finish the Istanbul Revisit series just across the gate we see in image 11. Istanbul28Y12 Imperial Gate North side. The old image is the closing page of the book/pages ‘Istanbul Topkapi’ that I created from the images from 1996. I particularly like the man on the right in shirt and tie walking towards the woman with the small backpack, walking across 28 years. Again the old and new picture line up very well and show the renewal the city is going through while keeping it’s soul.
