Pipes pt. 1
Berlin’s utility pipes run above ground through parts of the city, huge, painted in red, purple, yellow or blue, winding between buildings like something from an illustrated children’s book. Entirely practical. Accidentally beautiful. The city didn’t mean to make art here; it just needed to move water from one place to another, and then someone added colour.
