We Are Ready
A parking sign lists the rules for Zone 37 while three women walk towards me, one talking on the phone in a rust-coloured coat. Shutters are tagged in green and gold on a set of red steps. Three young men come by, one with his arms folded inside a purple jacket. On a long glass front someone has painted We are ready in white, and a group of men walk past it as if it was meant for them.
