A bus on the route, the full vehicle, seen whole, moving through the city at bus speed. Istanbul’s buses in 1996 were full and frequent and completely indifferent to the traffic around them, moving with the authority of something large enough that the traffic would move for it. The bus does not adjust. Everything else does.
