Along the Wooden Fence
A young man in a blue hoodie walks the length of a wooden fence, and I catch him three times as he passes. A bus goes by with its promise painted on the side: cleaner air for London. A man in a grey hoodie studies his phone, a rider with a food delivery box pedals into the wet, and a woman in a red raincoat looks up at something above her head. A pink door sticker shouts dinner and bingo at nobody in particular.
