Taxi at Blackfriars Bridge
A bronze man raises his arm for a taxi that will never stop. Real people walk past him: a woman in a black coat, two men in white shirts with their jackets over their arms. A man in black studies a map on a turquoise hoarding, and the painted ironwork of Blackfriars Bridge runs off towards the end. The pavement tells me to walk on the left, and the dragon stands with st. Paul’s dome behind it.
