Description

Stage 1 of the Istanbul Revisit series is a staircase at Darüşşifa Sk. In 1996 there was a market going on with many people on the streets selling and buying their daily produce. In 2024 only a lone person at the top of the stairs is visible. The matching in these two images is based on the staircase that has gotten wider and the balconies on the right side that have not changed much in the last 28 years.
